Work experience

Enrique Calabiug, economist and lawyer, has been a partner at Abencys Reestructuraciones since April 2026. He has over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, particularly in credit risk analysis for large companies and in the study, planning, analysis, and decision-making regarding different debt restructuring alternatives, including insolvency and pre-insolvency situations, refinancing agreements, refinancing plans, and domestic and international corporate transactions, among others.

He has participated directly as a restructuring analyst in several public restructuring processes involving listed companies or companies with listed instruments, most notably: Adveo, Celsa, Deoleo, Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentación, Duro Felguera, Natra, Naviera Armas, OHL, and Prisa.

Some of these cases have been governed by English law.

He has also been directly involved in more than 40 cases of various types in the public sector, including project finance and corporate finance.
